We traveled from Georgia to the beautiful town of Breckenridge in search of the perfect condo for a vacation home. Our goal was either a getaway for two or for a family vacation for our family of four. We wanted the ideal location that was close to the slopes but close to town and also had all the amenities we could want - after looking at MANY places to select our perfect vacation home we knew when we walked into this property this was it! We couldn't have pinpointed a better location. It is a true ski-in/ski-out and is also across the street from Main Street and walking distance to Breckenridge Brewery, which we love! Not only that, but when we walked into the unit we knew that if anyone was vacationing in Breckenridge (including ourselves) THIS is what we'd want...the feeling of truly being in the mountains since the unit looks like you are in a log cabin - it is perfect!! There are views of Mt. Baldy and the the unit itself has a full kitchen, jetted bath, comfortable seating, queen bed, and pull-out sofa, and is incredibly spacious for a studio. Every detail is perfectly suited for being in the mountains of Colorado down to the small details in the back splash in the kitchen. Not only is the unit ideal but then you also have all the conveniences of being in a hotel-like setting with hot tubs, a pool, etc... Whether you decide to use a car or not in Breckenridge you really can choose at this property because you are so central to everything and if you need parking it is there for you and if you rather shuttle in and not worry about a car you really wouldn't need one. We love it here and we know anyone who stays will too! This is ideal for a family of four or smaller, a couple looking to get away for a romantic getaway or even a girls weekend or guys weekend. Enjoy your stay
Great location and accomodations. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the temperature in room was very difficult.
My hisband and I come to Breckenridge for a ski vacation. We were looking for a comfortable place to stay with a full kitchen and good access to the ski slopes. This condo exceeded all of our expectations. We had a 2 minute walk to the bottom of the QuickSilver lift at the base of Peak 9. We skied home for lunch everyday to save some money. We also cooked most dinners at home. That being said, there are tons of places to eat on Main Street which is about a 5 minute walk or less. There is a blu-ray player to watch movies at night. During our visit, we only had local TV channels but that wasn't an issue since we were busy on the slopes and exploring Breck. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Breck if possible!
Our family are two adults and two grade-school girls. The room is not big, but it is as pictured and advertised, we knew what we were getting. There was plenty of room, we kept ski gear in our truck, so it would have been a little awkward if we would have needed to store ski equipment in the room. We never looked into a storage facility in the building. If you rent skis there, you can usually storage them at the rental facility as well. It was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is huge, plenty of room for a family of 4 getting ready at the same time. The kitchen really does have all of the amenities you will need--I brought a lot of my own cooking/eating supplies because you don't always know if there will be the pans and dishes you need available, but my extra stuff was not necessary. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating, but very "type B." If you are high strung and a little demanding and want things in a particular way or have high needs, stay in a hotel and not a rental condo. This is a private rental in a hotel setting, but there are no hotel amenities. They don't clean for you, bring you more towels, leave extra shampoo, etc. We knew that going in and brought our own extras and it worked out great. I do feel like they make this all very clear in the description, so if you go in expecting more, then you are not reading the information provided. Also--Parking Is An Extra Fee! We knew this was the case. As you can imagine, parking within 50 yards of the Quicksilver lift is a premium. When my husband was in the office picking up the keys, he said there were people in there screaming at the staff that all of their friends couldn't have free parking passes in the garage right there on site. The unit comes with only one parking spot, and it's an extra fee. The cons are very minor, and would not keep me from staying here again: it gets hot in the room, we needed to open the window a lot; the light fixture above the dining counter was not working, it was indicated they would come and fix it sometime while we were there but never did; the view is of the condo complex next door, it would have been fun to have a view of the ski hill; the rental office appears to have lost our parking pass after we followed the instructions for turning it in when the office is closed--we didn't get harassed about it, but they called nearly 2 weeks after we left wondering where it was (and we didn't have it because we turned it in...)
Within walking distance to Main Street. Nice kitchen. View of the mountains but mostly view of other condos.
Nice and clean. Pictures represent well the condo. Very accessible for the ski lift and ski school and rentals. Would highly recommend
The condo came with a parking pass which made parking easy and always had a place to park. It was located only a 3 minute walk from the mail strip with all the food and shopping.
Small condo in a perfect location. The unit has nice kitchen and an updated bathroom. It could use new carpeting and bedding. Owners should also remove all the extra unnessesary items in the closet since space is limited as is.
